Benard is the Head of Finance and Operations at Ruben Centre, where he provides strategic leadership in financial management, oversight, and compliance. Prior to joining Ruben Centre, he served as Financial Administrator at Edmund Rice Foundation, based in the Nairobi office.

In his role, he is responsible for financial planning and control, including budgeting, financial reporting, donor and grant compliance, internal controls, audit coordination, and cash flow management. He also supports organizational and programmatic effectiveness through strengthening financial systems, building staff capacity in financial management, and providing technical support to project planning, implementation, and monitoring to ensure prudent and accountable use of resources.

Mr. Kalola exhibits extensive experience in financial management with over ten years of experience in development finance, project management, and community development within the non-profit and development sector. He is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainability, and is passionate about contributing to positive community transformation through capacity building and sound financial stewardship that is Impact driven.
