Tabitha Mwende, is our top scorer in the 2020/2021 National Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) Examination after scoring 393 marks out of the total 500. Attaining the good aforementioned marks meant rummaging through the murky and uncertain path of life left by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The lifesaver that is Kangaroo Mother Care

Since January 2021, a total of 17 babies have successfully undergone Kangaroo Mother Care, including two sets of twins. The Ruben Centre continues to play an active role in supporting parents from Mukuru through providing maternal care which empowers the Mukuru Community.
