Margaret Kariuki
Program Development Manager
Margaret Wangeci Kariuki is the Program Development Manager at Ruben Centre, where she leads a portfolio of integrated programs spanning health, education, economic empowerment, and advocacy. She works closely with project leaders, senior management, and funding partners to strengthen community-driven programs that respond to evolving needs, deliver measurable impact, and advance the Centre's mission. Margaret also plays a key role in cultivating strategic partnerships, stewarding relationships with funding partners, and supporting the long-term growth and sustainability of Ruben Centre's programs. Having served the Centre in various capacities for over 13 years including a secondment as a Local Peace Expert under the GIZ Civil Peace Service Program, she brings deep institutional knowledge, a strong understanding of community development, and a unique perspective shaped by her own journey as a former student and beneficiary of Ruben Centre. Her leadership is grounded in lived experience and a commitment to expanding opportunities, strengthening communities, and creating lasting change.
